Eden Park Residential Aged Care is a standalone residence which means we can focus entirely on our home and ensure that all residents’ individual needs are always met. The facility is a first class fresh built and designed home which offers a complete service of aging in place in peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens. Our senior staff have many years both hands on and management skills experience, ensuring a whole accepting of your needs during what can be a hard time for all involved. Food is the spice of life, and here at Eden Park, we trust it should be cooked fresh daily and reflect the seasons, to permit for greatest nourishment and appeal. For your comfort and privacy, all of our rooms are large unsuited single rooms, complemented with divide beautiful dining and lounge areas for your enjoyment. Our location is conveniently close to public transport and shops, allowing residents and families to continue enjoying independence and retain outer interests. We donate a secure memory support unit for residents suffering from dementia. Here, the staff focus is to manage and decrease dementia related symptoms in a safe, dignified and secure environment. Eden Park is a 90 bed residential concern facility, which offers tall and low care beds. The aim at Eden Park is to promote the motto Living Longer, Living Stronger’. The facility has a stuffed time Physiotherapist and a Physiotherapy assistant to assist its residents maintain, and in some instances improve, their independence. Physical activity for residents is extensively promoted by staff in the Physiotherapy department. Each resident is assessed by the Physiotherapist on admission for their mobility and an exercise program is designed that is capable to the individual’s needs and help the resident work on their personal goals. Residents are offered group exercises three times a week in the gym, that consists of training stairs, rehabilitation bars, and release weights. The addition of a Wii Fit to the exercise class has not only added another component for balance maintenance to the program, but has also added some FUN. Residents enjoy the social aspect of group exercise classes where they foster and assist each other. In addition to indoor exercises residents enjoy a daily walking group outer around the neighborhood. For some people this is the only fee they are needed to pay.
